What do i want to improve?
In the second semester there are two main things that I would like to improve in my English. First one of them is vocabulary. Especially the one that involves many synonims and British slang. When I say "synonims" i think about the words, I can use instead of obvious, simple ones like: good, angry, sad, because it is very often the biggest problem I have to cope with while for example writting or speaking. We could learn about it I think in the same way as it was in the firt semester, just by watching concrete videos on Youtube on various topics. I would also really like to improve my listening skills. I find it sometimes quite hard to understand what other person says, when they have foreign accents, especially the British one, so it would be great to listen to it more often.
So you need some British films and TV shows to watch. I'd suggest "Would I lie to you" and the Graham Norton show. In both you have people chatting in a natural way, joking and using different accents. Among film or series you could have a look at 'Skins' - a series about older teenagers made some years ago or any of the numerous crime shows: 'Silent Witness', 'Broadchurch', 'Luther' - Google 'British crime shows'.
