 In 1995 a scuba diver - Yoji Ookata, spotted some diameter patterned sand circles while diving off the coast of Japan. They were nearly six feet in diameter and almost 80 feet below the sea level. At first no one knew how did they forme there but some people thought that it was created by UFO. Of course after some time scientists decided to take a look at it and they found out that the culprit was completely different than everyone expected.  2000 years ago there used to be the Nile Delta dotted by islands, but these islands have mysteriously dissapeared. Franck Goddio, a french arheologist, decided to find out what happened. He saw a huge face emerge under water while he was on the boat with his team. Later on, when they went deeper under water they discovered Thonis-Heracleion - a lost Egyptian city 6,5 kilomtres off Alexandria's coast. There were a large monolith which must have once stood in the holiest part of the mythical temple, three collosal statues standing at 17 feet, 64 ships, old coins and the most impoertant remains of a massive temple to the God Amun-Gereb.  To today's day it isn't known how this Egyptian city ended up so deep under water.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19Iea0kn31I
