Volkswagen rebranding

Obraz
The change of the name of the brand was first announced in an unfinished press release that appeared on the company's US site, which was quickly removed. Scott Keogh, president and chief executive of the new Voltswagen of America, said that Volkswagen will be changing out K for T as an attempt to reflect its investment in the growing electric vehicle market. But many people think that is it premature April Fool's joke and a part of marketing campaign for their new model of car which is Volkswagen ID.4. I think that it is true and they will actually rebrand the name of their brand, even though it kind of suspicious that the annoucment, which appeared on their site and later on was delated was just a mistake as they say. They might did it on purpose to butter both sides of the bread, which is an attempt to fix their image after huge scandal over emissions in 2015 (cars were equipped with software, which manipulated the results of measurements of emissions from the exh...

Banksy's gift painting

Obraz
In May last year, well-known artist - Banksy delivered his painting "Game Changer" to Southapmton general hospital as a way to say thank you to the NHS for their help during pandemic. It shows a young boy leaving his figures of Batman and Spider-Man in bin and instead of them playing with a figure of a caped superhero nurse. The work was sold at Christie's for £16.17m. That's a new record set for Banky's paintings. Also Christie's said that proceeds from this acution would be used to help and support health organisations across UK, which enchance the care provided by NHS.      I think that first of all it is so kind of Bansky that he showed his appreciation in such way. This painting carries a very important message, which is that doctors, nurses and all of the hospital staff sacrifice many things during pandemic, sometimes even their own life to help others. Some people say that his paintings are overated and people who wanted to buy this one went a little bi...

Brian Sicknick's death

Julian Elie Khater and George Pierre Tanios were arrested by FBI on Sunday. They will be charged of assulting police officer named Brian Sicknick. Apparently, there is a video in the internet showing these two guys spraying officer's face with "bear spray" during US Capitol riots on 6 January. He died the next day. The cause of his death is still unknown, but US Justice Department opened a federal murder ivestigation and  today both of the accused men are expected to appear in court and will be judged. People may debate that they didn't actually kill him, because he probably didn't die directly from the spray but hit from the back with fire extinguisher, but in my opinion they did it. If they didn't spray him he could have seen things going on around him better. Also sprays like that can cause chest pain, cold sweat and many other side effects and these things for sure don't help when you are trying to control riots and calm down hundreds of people. I hop...

New bans in Switzerland

Sunday's referendum in Switzerland showed that 51% of Swiss voters voted in favour of banning face coverings in public, including the burka or niqab worn by Muslim men and especially women. Face masks worn for health and safety reasons won't be affected by the new law. Switzerland's parliament opposed the referendum proposal and said it represents a "fringe phonomenon". The Muslims are mad and are critisizing the ban saying that it is clearly directed against them.  I agree with them and it is totally understandable that they are angry. It is very suspicious for me that people from the Swiss People's Party who voted for banning face covering say that it is not aimed at Muslims and that it also applies to for example rioters who often pull over their faces a scarf, but then make posters with a graphic of a Muslim woman on it and caption under it saying: "Stop Islam extremism!"... If they will accept this ban it will ruin their reputation and clearly ...
